I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. They specialize in Volvos but also work on other brands, and their knowledge and skill are outstanding. What really stands out is their honesty and directness. They don’t sugarcoat things and it’s refreshing to have a mechanic who communicates clearly, consistently, and without any runaround. They maintain professionalism at all times, explain exactly what’s needed, and back it up with phenomenal workmanship. Every repair and service I’ve had done here has been top-notch and reliable. If you want a mechanic who tells it like it is and does the job right the first time, this is the place to go.

My A/C system recently started acting up in my Gen while on a trip. I had it checked and recharged while away. The recharge ran me just over 100 bucks and it barely lasted the way home. By the next morning it was just semi-cool air blowing from the vents. I have heard a lot of great things about this shop, so I decided to take my car for another check. Turns out it needed a whole new compressor which they diagnosed the mechanical issue for free. The friendly receptionist at the front desk provided a quote the same day and said it may take a day or two to complete the work. But, by noon the following day she called and said it was repaired and ready to go. Turns out that the parts were ordered overnight which I totally unexpected. Eric, the mechanic that worked on my Genny thoroughly explained everything involved in the fix. The cost was very reasonable for the work; especially if you know what OEM compressors can run. I hopped in the car yesterday and my A/C was back to totally chillin' . Happy-Happy-Happy ! My best advice, don't second guess taking your car/truck to this repair shop. They are very honest, fair and reasonable. Thank you Eric and Vol-car. My Genny thanks you too. I'll definitely be recommending you to family and friends, not just here on Google. Vol-Car is a reasonable alternative to the Dealership after ones odometer rolls past the warranty. (An event for which Volvos are famous). They understood my S60 potentially has 3 different brake shoe/rooter specifications. Service was prompt, staff were friendly. Give them a try.
